Our Culture and Values

The Dunn School is a friendly and collegiate place to study and work. Our ambition is to create an inclusive environment where diversity in all its forms is celebrated and everyone is able to reach their full potential.

We believe that the best science happens when everyone is respected and supported; and their achievements are valued and celebrated. We place a particular focus on wellbeing initiatives and have a zero tolerance to bullying or harassment.  We are aware of our environmental responsibilities, and are at the forefront of the movement to make lab-based research more sustainable.

You can read in more detail in specific pages how we support students and staff. Below we list a variety of groups that lead on specific priorities for the department.
