Centenary Logo Competition

What are we looking for?

Relevance

• The logo should be based on, or include the current Dunn School logo.
• The logo should be relevant to the Dunn School and represent what we stand for.

Versatility

• The logo needs to be suitable for use on all platforms: website, print and merchandise.
• The logo should be simple enough to be scaled up or down and still look good.
• The logo will need to work in both colour and black and white.

Impact

• The logo should leave a positive, memorable impression.

Note that there is no guarantee that the winning design will actually end up as our logo. We will likely use professional graphic design help, but to start this process we need ideas for the brief. Of course, if your design is brilliant, maybe it will end up immortalised for the next 100 years!

Entry guidelines

• The Centenary Logo Competition is open to all Dunn School staff, students and friends, both past and present.
• Your entry does not need to be a professional design, rough sketches are very welcome!
• Please complete the online entry form with your details, and send a copy of your centenary logo design as a PNG or PDF (max. 10MB) to alumni@path.ox.ac.uk  
• The deadline for entries is midday, Wednesday 11th June 2025. Entries received after this time will not be considered.

Evaluation Criteria

The Centenary Working group, chaired by Matthew Freeman, will judge designs based on their visual appeal, how they represent the Dunn School’s values and mission, and how suitable it is for use on multiple platforms.
