Surface Plasmon Resonance Facility

Surface Plasmon Resonance Facility

Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) is a widely used and extremely powerful technique for studying molecular interactions.

The SPR facility in the Dunn School provides access to three fully-maintained SPR biosensors:

  • Biacore T200 – for ultra-low immobilisation experiments

  • Biacore 3000 – for routine screening of protein-protein interactions

  • Bio-Rad ProteOn XPR36 – for high throughput screening

We also supply the core reagents and consumables required for experiments.

Our friendly and supportive team also provides training and advice on all aspects of your work including sample preparation, instrument operation, experiment design, and data analysis and interpretation.

The Surface Plasmon Resonance Facility is managed by Marcus Bridge.
