Students
The Dunn School is an exceptional environment for research training. We have around 70 post-graduate students from over 30 countries currently studying for their doctoral degrees. The Department is located in a beautiful setting adjacent to the University Parks. Students benefit from its proximity to other science departments and facilities, colleges, libraries, and central Oxford. We offer a comprehensive training programme, including an annual Graduate Student Symposium and an extensive series of seminars and workshops covering a wide range of techniques and transferable skills.
Prospective Graduate Students
We take on about 15 graduate students every year who work towards a Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) degree, which is the University of Oxford’s equivalent of a PhD.

Graduate Student Association
We have an active Graduate Student Association run by current students, which organises a series of scientific and career seminars, and social events.
