Pupil Nadir Rahoman said: ‘‘seeing our own DNA, it was so cool. I was amazed to see my DNA. It was great to have you and it was the best workshop in the week.”

Year 3s enjoyed conducting an experiment to extract DNA from strawberries to learn about its characteristics.

One child said: ‘’I learnt that adults pass on their DNA to their children. Extracting DNA from strawberries was really good fun!’’
