Green Group flies flag for UN World Environment Day

The Dunn School flagpole is proudly flying the department’s Green Group flag in celebration of UN World Environment Day on 5 June 2020.

The theme of this year’s global event is “Time for Nature” #FORNATURE

Dunn School Green Group Chair, Anton van der Merwe said:

The Dunn School Green Group adds our support to UN World Environment Day. We share the view the Coronavirus pandemic is a wake-up call for humanity – reminding us we are part of nature and not separate from it. To overcome the global crises of climate change and biodiversity loss we must respect and nurture the natural world and by doing so safeguard our own survival.”
