Asif Iabal a postdoc in the Greaves Lab has won a BINKS Trust award in the young investigator category at the British Atherosclerosis Society (BAS) Autumn meeting, 10 – 11 September in Cambridge.
The work Asif presented was based around Apolipoprotein A1 and its role in modulating macrophage and monocyte responsiveness to multiple chemoattractants.
The BINKS Trust award recognises and financially supports the atherosclerosis-related research of young investigators from the laboratories of BAS members in the UK.
The British Atherosclerosis Society (BAS) is a non-profit-making organisation established in 1999 with the aim of promoting UK atherosclerosis research.
