The symposium will include both scientific and non-scientific sessions reflecting on the challenges and opportunities facing modern science and celebrating our past research and members.
Confirmed speakers include:
- Professor Gillian Griffiths, Chair of the Department of Cell Biology at Yale School of Medicine, USA, and Dunn School alumna
- Professor Maria Leptin, President of the European Research Council and visiting professor at the Dunn School
- Professor Leo Poon, Head of the Division of Public Health Laboratory Sciences, School of Public Health at the University of Hong Kong, and Dunn School alumnus
- Dame Professor Fiona Powrie, Director of the Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology, University of Oxford and Dunn School alumna
- Professor Tim Springer, Harvard Medical School
- Professor Irene Tracey, Vice-Chancellor University of Oxford
The Centenary Symposium will then be followed by a reception at the Natural History Museum.
