Shona Murphy has been awarded the title of Professor in Oxford’s 2014 Recognition of Distinction exercise.
She now has the title of Professor of Molecular Genetics.
Head of Department, Matthew Freeman, said: ‘‘this is really excellent news and greatly deserved. Professor Murphy’s research has been and continues to be be world class. She is a central member of our department and this recognition is overdue.”
