Prof Herman Waldmann

We are primarily concerned with reprogramming the immune system for therapeutic benefit. By understanding the mechanisms underlying self-tolerance it should be possible to harness or exploit some of these to enable acceptance of transplants, reversal of autoimmune disease and allergies, and improvement of vaccines.
