Postdoc Symposium
The Postdoc Symposium is an annual event, organised by and for Postdocs at the Dunn School. Postdocs get the chance to present their work to the whole Department, either in a talk or as a poster. Coffee and lunch breaks, as well as a reception afterwards, provide ample opportunity for networking with our DPhil students, fellow Postdocs and group leaders. The Symposium facilitates the development of new ideas and potential collaborations. Furthermore, it provides valuable practice for presentation at international conferences and for public speaking.
Beside the scientific side of the Symposium, there is also a part to play in its organisation. Our Symposium is therefore a great opportunity to hone scientific and networking skills in a friendly setting, and also to develop organisational skills or to have a go at leading discussions of scientific work.
