Oxford Molecular Pathology Institute
The Oxford Molecular Pathology Institute is a new building on the Dunn School of Pathology site.
The new £30 million institute will house existing programmes in Immunology, molecular developmental biology, microbiology, and cancer cell biology.
The institute, which has been designed jointly by Nightingale Associates and Make Architects, is being built on the site of the former Leslie Martin Building in the University Science Area. It will be functionally integrated into the Pevsner-listed Dunn School, with which it is co-located. Scheduled for completion at the end of January 2011, the building will comprise five floors: the four floors above ground will house office and primary and secondary laboratory space, while the basement will house support services, including a specialised shared data centre for the University.
